On the touch screen: | Select the box style. Enter the box parameters – Length, width, height (depth), board thickness, and glue tab length. |

Time: | Typically under 2 minutes; As little as 30 seconds |

On the touch screen: | Select RUN |
Insert: | Pre-cut corrugated box blank |
| Motor-driven rollers move the blank to each slot position |
| At each slot position, a guillotine mechanism inside the machine stamps a slot and sets the box's body score |
| As the box blank goes through the machine, a roller sets the flap scores |
| PRODUCTIVITY: |
Save: | Save the current box. Enter a box name and optional description. The 970B can store up to 2,000 boxes (more upon request.) |
Recall a saved box: | View saved boxes page at a time. Scroll or search for your saved box. Select (load) the saved box; optionally, edit the box before running. RUN the saved box, or QUEUE the saved box in a job queue. |
Queue: | Enter saved boxes into a job queue. New jobs go to the bottom of the list. Normally, the operator selects the box at the top of the list to run (first in, first out.) Optionally, operators may promote other jobs to run next. |
| OPTIONS: |
Manage from a remote PC: | As an option, owners may purchase software so that others connected to the boxmaker via local network may perform the same functions as the machine operator, except run the box. Salesmen may enter boxes, save boxes, queue boxes. Managers may view current machine status and job queue. |
